In 1924, Delage completely redesigned their 2LCV GP car. They increased the V12 engine's power output to 120 horsepower at 6,000 RPM, without a supercharger. The car's advanced engine design was particularly notable, and it would go on to influence the development of future racing engines.

At the 1924 European Grand Prix in France, the car driven by Albert Divo finished in second place, while Robert Benoist's car finished in third. At the San Sebastian Grand Prix in Spain, Morel finished in third place and Divo took fourth.
