Start
The race start is again similar short interval standing start we had in Tours. That is to avoid huge mayhem on the tight downhill corner in the first village. It is really tight and the tyres and brakes are still cold, so it will be challenging, so take it with extra care and be prepared that car in front might have spinned or that driver in front might take it more carefully than you thought you would.
Racing
Racing don't have any special rules (like ovals did) so it's pretty familiar to you all.
Also keep in mind that the speed difference and brake efficiency varies a lot between different cars, so be cautious going into corners with other drivers. Also some corners are pretty tricky with these cars, so the possibility that tomeone has spun in front of you is somewhat high. Especially the Lesmo corners can be pretty demanding.
Also keep in mind that if you end up off track or wreck your car or get stuck into fence or something, you're not allowed to teleport to pits manually. You can try to return to race by driving back to track safely or using Extra C to be returned to track (but keep in mind that you will lose 1 lap and get your car reset by using that, so keep it as a last desperate act to avoid DNF), but if that's not possible, it's DNF. So be cautious to not get yourself into such trouble.
Pitting
Pitting is also pretty normal: Don't block anyone while going in or returning onto the track. And make sure you familiarize yourself with the repair procedures once you meet with mechanical issues.
The weather forecast will be announced about a week before the race and it will then get more precise going into the event.
