Start
The next race is going to be really challenging, 200 laps + 1 formation lap on a most steeply banked racetrack ever. It will require constantly being sharp and attentive. As in every oval race, tyre changes outside of pitbox is forbidden, so no point carrying extra spares.
Starting grid will be done by a ballot once again and will be announced on a race day. The start will be a rolling start like at Opel (except with only 1 formation lap) and after the green lights in grid the cars will go slowly into a single file formation. The leader is responsible to keep the speed so slow that even the last driver will get in line in time. Once the leader crosses the finish line after a formation laps the race is on.
Racing
Racing etiquet in ovals is so that the car in front don't make way for the faster car behind - just keep their line steady, but it is the responsibility of an overtaking driver to make an overtake so that it is safe. That also means that blocking is strictly forbidden. These rules apply for cars being lapped, but also for the cars on same lap, racing for position. Also keep in mind that overtaking using the lower lane is really challenging, so make sure you have practiced that move (we will have a practice race before the real one) if you attempt to do it in race.
Also keep in mind that if you end up off track, you're not allowed to teleport to pits. You can try to return to race by driving back to track safely, but if that's not possible, it's DNF. So be cautious to not get yourself into such trouble - and especially not to get fellow drivers onto that trouble.
Pitting
When entering or exiting pits make it so that you don't block anyone and don't do any unpredictable linechanges. Especially when returning to track and you're not in full speed yet, so keep your car in the lower line until it's certain that you can take your ideal lane safely.
The weather forecast will be announced about a week before the race and it will then get more precise going into the event. But once again as we are in oval so we don't race in too wet conditions. Yet we are in late October Spain, so don't expect any heat waves either.
