The 1924 Bugatti T35 featured an 8-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that by end of the season delivered 95 horsepower at 5,000 rpm.
The Type 35 debuted at the European Grand Prix in Lyon in 1924, where five cars were entered but only finished in seventh, eighth, and tenth place. The best race for the T35 in 1924 was at the San Sebastian Grand Prix in Spain, where Bugatti's driver Costantino finished in second place, while Pierre de Vizcaya and Chassagne finished in fifth and sixth place respectively.
The T35's ease of handling and agility made it a popular choice among racing teams, and Bugatti sold approximately 300 of these cars over the next decade to customers and various privateer racers.
